Job Title: Specialized Transaction Modeling Expert

Job Type: Part-time

Pay Range: $140-$240 (based on seniority)

Location: Remote, US and Europe (exclusive)

Job Summary

Join our customer's team as a Specialized Transaction Modeling Expert, partnering with one of the largest companies in the world. Leverage your industry expertise to develop sophisticated, bespoke financial models for complex and unique transactions. This remote role is ideal for seasoned transactional finance professionals eager to make a measurable impact while collaborating with highly experienced peers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and refine advanced financial models tailored to industry-specific transactions such as Sale Leasebacks, REIT Conversions, and NAV analyses.
  • Develop bespoke transaction structures, including RMTs, spin/carve outs, and complex IP licensing deals, applying custom logic and innovative frameworks.
  • Conduct in-depth due diligence with a focus on specialized vertical analysis, including unit economics and cohort trend identification.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure model integrity, transparency, and actionable insights for strategic initiatives.
  • Clearly and effectively communicate complex modeling assumptions and outcomes through compelling written reports and verbal presentations.
  • Support high-impact decision-making processes with scenario analysis and sensitivity testing for unique transaction variants.
  • Stay abreast of market developments, regulatory trends, and emerging transaction structures relevant to client industries.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven years’ experience as a banker at a tier 1 company or equivalent, with a proven track record of handling complex transactions in the U.S.
  • Demonstrated expertise in designing and delivering industry-specific models for intricate transaction types.
  • Advanced proficiency in due diligence, with ability to dissect and interpret vertical analyses such as unit economics and cohort trends.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a passion for clarity, precision, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Deep understanding of transaction structuring principles across growth equity, venture capital, private equity, or corporate development.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities, with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Experience collaborating successfully in remote, cross-functional teams for high-stakes projects.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior exposure to buy-side adjacent firms or environments handling non-standard, innovative transactions.
