Job Summary:

Join our customer's team as a Filmmaker - AI trainer and help shape the future of artificial intelligence in the world of cinematography. You will leverage your film expertise to contribute to groundbreaking AI training initiatives over a focused 2-4 week project. This is an excellent opportunity to impact next-generation technology while collaborating with creative and technical professionals.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with AI development teams to provide expert insight into cinematography workflows and filmmaking best practices.
  2. Curate, annotate, and explain visual and written materials to enhance AI systems’ understanding of filmmaking techniques.
  3. Review and provide feedback on AI-generated content, ensuring authenticity and industry relevance.
  4. Develop detailed documentation, guides, and sample scenes to support training datasets.
  5. Engage in regular video and written communication with cross-functional teams, articulating complex concepts in an accessible manner.
  6. Suggest creative solutions for improving AI models’ understanding of film language.
  7. Participate in project meetings, offering recommendations based on industry standards and trends.



Required Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Proven background in filmmaking, with strong knowledge of cinematography, directing, and storytelling techniques.
  2. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate cinematic concepts to diverse audiences.
  3. Experience working on collaborative, multidisciplinary projects.
  4. Comfortable with remote work, demonstrating reliability and self-motivation.
  5. Ability to analyze and assess both technical and creative aspects of film production.
  6. Detail-oriented approach to annotating and documenting visual content.
  7. Availability for a 2-4 week, part-time commitment.



Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Previous experience training or tutoring in a creative or technical field.
  2. Familiarity with AI or machine learning concepts related to media or content creation.
  3. Portfolio showcasing impactful film or AI-related work.
