Job Summary:
Our customer’s team is seeking an accomplished Financial Analysis Expert to deliver actionable insights, drive sound business decisions, and elevate financial performance. You will play a critical role in interpreting complex data, supporting strategic initiatives, and ensuring high-quality financial reporting in a fully remote environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide in-depth recommendations for business strategy improvement.
- Prepare detailed financial models, forecasts, and variance analyses to support executive decision-making.
- Develop and present clear, concise reports and presentations for stakeholders at all levels.
- Collaborate across teams to evaluate business opportunities, cost-saving initiatives, and risk management strategies.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls while maintaining data integrity.
- Drive process optimization through workflow enhancements and leveraging best practices in financial analysis.
- Communicate complex findings in an articulate, impactful manner both in writing and verbally.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in financial analysis, financial planning, or related field.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a strong emphasis on clarity and influence.
- Expertise in building and interpreting financial models using Excel or similar tools.
- Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights and clear recommendations.
- Thorough understanding of GAAP, financial statements, and industry trends.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, remote setting.
- Must reside in the United States or Canada.
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA or advanced degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
- Experience working in cross-functional, geographically dispersed teams.
- Proven track record of implementing process improvements within a financial analysis function.
