Job Summary:

Join our customer's team as a Data Recorder and play a pivotal role in advancing robotic intelligence. In this unique, hands-on position, you’ll capture first-person, point-of-view videos performing simple daily tasks to help train AI models in recognizing human actions. This fully remote, ultra-flexible role is designed for detail-oriented individuals who excel at clear communication and enjoy contributing to innovative technology.

Key Responsibilities:

• Record stable, high-quality POV videos of various household and daily tasks using a head-mounted smartphone
• Follow clear, simple instructions for each task prompt to ensure accurate data collection.
• Maintain consistent framing, optimal lighting, and stable camera angles in all recordings.
• Upload all videos to our internal platform with the required file naming conventions and complete metadata.
• Ensure diversity in environments and surfaces while upholding strict quality standards.
• Submit 1–2 short sample videos during the screening process to confirm correct POV and setup.
• Communicate effectively in both written and verbal formats, providing clear updates and seeking clarification as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring every recording meets project guidelines.
• Experience with video recording using a smartphone (minimum 1080p @ 30FPS).
• Ability to securely mount a smartphone at head or chest height (using a head strap, chest mount, or tripod).
• Access to a stable, indoor recording space with good lighting conditions.
• Proficient written and verbal communication skills, with a strong commitment to quality.
• Reliable internet connection for timely video uploads.
• Ability to meet a weekly commitment of at least 15 hours after selection.
