Join our customer's team as an English Generalist and play a pivotal role in pioneering the next generation of AI-driven language technologies. Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, edit, and enhance AI-generated English content for grammar, syntax, clarity, and style.
- Conduct in-depth research to ensure the accuracy and reliability of information used for AI training.
- Apply AP Style, copyediting, and proofreading best practices to a diverse array of texts.
- Develop and refine writing prompts, tone guidelines, and stylistic parameters for language models.
- Analyze and annotate text data to improve AI language comprehension and generation capabilities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify improvement areas and ensure linguistic quality.
- Provide feedback to continuously optimize AI model outputs and training processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Advanced proficiency in English, with a keen eye for grammar, syntax, and language structure.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in copyediting, proofreading, or linguistics roles.
- Demonstrated expertise in reading comprehension and adapting to various writing styles and tones.
- Proficient in AP Style and other recognized editorial standards.
- Strong research skills, with the ability to synthesize and communicate complex information.
- Experience working with or training language models is highly desirable.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on clarity and empathy.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Background in linguistics, computational linguistics, or related language-focused fields.
- Exposure to AI training environments or similar data annotation projects.
- Agility in adapting to new technologies and evolving project requirements.
