Job Summary:

Join our customer’s team as a Portuguese Language Expert and play a pivotal role in shaping high-quality language data resources for cutting-edge projects. As a valued team member, you will leverage your bilingual skills and linguistic expertise to enhance data annotation processes and support impactful initiatives—all from the comfort of your own home.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Annotate, label, and review Portuguese language data for use in AI and machine learning applications.
  2. Ensure linguistic accuracy and consistency in all data annotation and curation activities.
  3. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align on language standards and project guidelines.
  4. Provide expert feedback on language usage, translations, and data quality.
  5. Document annotation processes and suggest improvements for workflow efficiency.
  6. Participate in team discussions, sharing insights and best practices regarding language nuances.
  7. Contribute to the development of language resources tailored to project needs.



Required Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Native or near-native proficiency in Portuguese and fluency in English.
  2. Demonstrated experience in data annotation and language data processing.
  3. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
  4. Solid understanding of Portuguese grammar, syntax, and regional variations.
  5. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote setting.
  6. Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
  7. Experience collaborating in a multicultural, distributed team environment.



Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Background in linguistics, language studies, or a related field.
  2. Prior experience supporting AI or localization projects.
  3. Familiarity with annotation tools and platforms.
