Job Description
Job Title: Junior FreeCAD Designer (3D Modeling)
Job Type: Contractor
Location: Remote
Job Summary: In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge is what matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and refine 3D models using FreeCAD in collaboration with the customer's team for AI training purposes.
- Interpret and follow detailed design briefs and technical specifications accurately.
- Provide constructive feedback on model quality and usability for AI learning processes.
- Document modeling workflows and methodologies to support knowledge transfer within the project.
- Communicate effectively via written and verbal channels to clarify requirements and share insights.
- Iterate on designs based on feedback to ensure models meet project standards and objectives.
- Maintain organized files and version control for all modeling work.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proficiency in FreeCAD for 3D modeling and design tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for geometrical accuracy.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
- Ability to follow technical instructions and adapt to evolving project needs.
- Understanding of basic engineering or design principles.
- Proactive attitude and willingness to learn new techniques relevant to AI training.
- Reliable organization and time management skills in a remote work environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with datasets or for AI/ML-related projects.
- Background in mechanical engineering, industrial design, or a related technical field.
