Key Responsibilities
Analyze and annotate short Japanese audio clips, identifying distinct vocal traits such as breathiness, creakiness, articulation, and prosody.
Provide detailed written and verbal insights on vocal qualities and subtleties relevant to voice acting and speech technology projects.
Collaborate with other voice experts to ensure consistency and depth in annotation standards.
Leverage industry knowledge to support the accurate classification of vocal characteristics within audio samples.
Maintain high levels of quality and attention to detail in all annotation tasks.
Advise on best practices for identifying and describing Japanese vocal traits.
Contribute to discussions on refining project processes and improving data quality.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Native or near-native proficiency in Japanese, with a deep understanding of its vocal and linguistic attributes.
Proven experience as a voice coach, vocal specialist, or voice acting expert focusing on the Japanese language.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a strong ability to articulate observations and recommendations.
Strong analytical listening skills and attention to subtle vocal details.
Experience annotating audio or providing expert feedback in voice-related projects.
