Job Description
Job Title: 2D Artist (Krita)
Job Type: Contractor
Location: Remote
Job Summary: In this role, you'll apply your Krita expertise to help train next-generation AI systems for 2D Artistry. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge is what matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leverage strong Krita skills to create high-quality 2D illustrations, assets, and graphics.
- Demonstrate proficiency with Krita’s brushes, layers, and vector tools to deliver polished visual solutions.
- Produce simple 2D animation sequences and project files using Krita.
- Follow end-to-end workflows to ensure that all project requirements and timelines are met.
- Collaborate via written and verbal channels, clearly articulating creative ideas and feedback.
- Contribute domain expertise to support the training and refinement of AI models focused on artistic tasks.
- Ensure all deliverables align with the customer’s specifications and creative vision.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience with Krita, including brushes, layers, and vector functionalities.
- Strong portfolio of 2D illustrations and graphic design work, demonstrating advanced artistic ability.
- Solid understanding of end-to-end project workflows within Krita.
- Ability to create and deliver simple 2D animations in Krita.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a detail-oriented mindset.
- Basic knowledge of animation principles and their application in 2D projects.
- Capability to work independently, manage time effectively, and contribute to a remote team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Active involvement in the Krita community or open-source projects related to 2D art.
- Portfolio showcasing personal or collaborative Krita-based projects.
- Experience supporting or mentoring others in a digital art capacity.
