Job Title: Haitian Creole Language Expert

Job Summary:

Join our customer's team as a Haitian Creole Language Expert and leverage your linguistic expertise to support critical language initiatives. As an AI trainer and language specialist, you will play a vital role in enhancing language resources and ensuring high-quality content in Haitian Creole.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Translate, review, and edit diverse texts and digital materials to ensure accuracy and cultural appropriateness in Haitian Creole.
  2. Collaborate with AI development teams to train and evaluate language models for Haitian Creole.
  3. Provide expertise on linguistic nuances, grammar, and regional expressions to enhance AI language understanding.
  4. Ensure all written and verbal communications meet high standards of clarity, coherence, and consistency.
  5. Develop guidelines and glossaries for Haitian Creole language usage within the project.
  6. Evaluate and provide feedback on language data, translations, and content generated by AI systems.
  7. Stay updated on emerging trends in Haitian Creole linguistics and language technology.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Native or near-native proficiency in Haitian Creole with excellent command of written and spoken language.
  2. Proven experience in translation, editing, or linguistic research involving Haitian Creole.
  3. Strong written and verbal communication skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  4. Demonstrated ability to provide constructive linguistic feedback and quality assurance.
  5. Experience working in cross-functional, multicultural teams.
  6. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively in a remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  2. Prior experience training AI or working with language data for technology projects.
  3. Published work or recognized contributions in the field of Haitian Creole linguistics.
