Job Summary:
Are you passionate about SAP Materials Management and ready to take the next step as a leader? Join our team as a SAP MM Assistant Manager, where you will drive S/4 Hana procurement technology excellence and lead solution delivery for high-impact clients. You will play a critical role in enhancing our Source to Pay processes while working directly with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage SAP MM module implementations, integrations, and rollouts, ensuring seamless cross-functional collaboration with SD, PP, and FI/CO
• Analyze business requirements and design solutions; create Business Process Procedures (BPP) and Functional Specifications (FS), and coordinate with ABAP development teams
• Develop and execute test plans and scripts for new functionalities and enhancements, overseeing the full testing lifecycle
• Utilize hands-on expertise in S/4 Hana features, including BP, CVI, advanced contract settlement, and Central Procurement
• Oversee direct and indirect procurement with an emphasis on Procure-to-Pay (P2P), including requisitioning, purchase orders, goods/service receipt, and invoicing
• Manage master data (Material master, Business Partner, Service Master, Source List) and support data migration processes using LSMW, LTMC, and LTAP
• Engage directly with clients, interpret requirements, staff projects, and ensure effective communication flow throughout the project lifecycle
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Minimum 7+ years of SAP procurement and sourcing experience, including at least 2+ years on SAP S/4HANA 1809 or above
• Expert knowledge of SAP MM with proven cross-functional integration abilities
• Deep understanding of direct and indirect procurement, inventory management, special procurement, and contract management
• Strong experience in pricing procedures, release strategies, flexible workflow configuration, and familiarity with tax engine integration
• Proficiency in data migration tools and processes (LSMW, LTMC, LTAP)
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage clients and collaborate across teams
• Demonstrated ability to perform in a dynamic environment and handle tight timelines
• SAP S4 Sourcing and Procurement (TS450 / TS452) certification is required
Preferred Qualifications:
• Prior exposure to ITIL framework and IT management tools
• Experience in strategic team initiatives and high-performance team development
• Knowledge of integration with advanced procurement solutions or latest S/4HANA functionalities
