Job Summary:
Join our valued customer's team as an Elementary School Teacher (Except Special Education) and make a significant impact on young learners, fostering growth and curiosity in a dynamic remote setting. We are seeking a passionate educator with at least 4 years of experience in elementary teaching, dedicated to innovative instruction and nurturing student development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging, standards-based lessons across core subject areas to elementary students in a virtual environment.
- Develop and implement creative instructional strategies tailored to a diverse range of learning styles and abilities.
- Assess student progress regularly, providing timely feedback and adapting instruction to ensure continued achievement.
- Foster a supportive, positive, and inclusive virtual classroom community that encourages curiosity and respect.
- Utilize technology and digital resources to enhance learning outcomes and classroom collaboration.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues through clear, consistent written and verbal channels.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to remain current with best practices in remote education and pedagogy.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 4 years of professional experience as an elementary school teacher (this is the #1 criterion for consideration).
- Strong teaching skills with a proven record of student engagement and academic progress.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, critical for remote collaboration and instruction.
- Demonstrated ability to create a motivating, inclusive, and adaptable online learning environment.
- Proficiency with educational technology platforms and online teaching tools.
- Strong organizational and classroom management abilities.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Elementary Education or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Evidence of achievement or recognition in the field of elementary education.
- Experience developing innovative lesson plans or curriculum for virtual classrooms.
- Advanced certifications in education or instructional technology.
