Job Summary:

Join our customer's team as a skilled Inventory Specialist and play a crucial role in managing the seamless flow of merchandise from delivery through to the sales floor. You'll harness advanced digital inventory systems and cutting-edge RFID/scanning technology to ensure accuracy, speed, and organization in stock management. If you thrive in fast-paced environments and excel at balancing precision with efficiency, this role is designed for you.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Efficiently process incoming and outgoing merchandise using RFID and handheld scanners.
  2. Maintain and update digital inventory records within ERP systems to ensure real-time accuracy.
  3. Manage "Buy Online Pick Up In Store" (BOPIS) queues, ensuring prompt and accurate order fulfillment.
  4. Coordinate stock rotation and organization for optimal product visibility and freshness.
  5. Communicate rapidly and clearly with team members to resolve inventory discrepancies and support operational excellence.
  6. Handle occasional lifting of merchandise up to 50 lbs as required for stock movement.
  7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot inventory issues and streamline processes.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Proven proficiency with RFID and handheld scanning technology in an inventory context.
  2. Solid understanding of inventory management systems and ERP software basics.
  3. Strong written and verbal communication skills for high-speed, accurate information exchange.
  4. Exceptional attention to detail and precise data entry capability.
  5. Ability to balance speed with accuracy in a dynamic, fast-moving environment.
  6. Comfortable with spatial organization tasks and effective stockroom management.
  7. Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs as part of routine duties.


Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience managing digital BOPIS or similar queue systems in a retail or logistics setting.
  2. Background in collaborative problem-solving within distributed or remote teams.
  3. Demonstrated expertise in optimizing inventory workflows using technology.
