Job Summary:
Join our customer’s team as a Clinical Research & Public Health AI Trainer and harness your expertise to advance next-generation AI solutions in healthcare and public health. In this pivotal remote role, you will shape, curate, and validate AI training data while applying real-world research and clinical insights. Your contributions will ensure that AI systems reflect rigorous research standards, regulatory compliance, and actionable public health impacts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, review, and optimize study protocols and research methodologies for AI training purposes.
- Evaluate and annotate clinical and public health datasets, ensuring high-quality, representative, and relevant data for AI model development.
- Apply advanced data analysis skills using tools such as SPSS, R, or SAS to interpret research and clinical data, translating insights into AI training objectives.
- Ensure all AI-related processes align with Good Clinical Practice (GCP), IRB/ethics board requirements, informed consent, patient safety, and public health regulations.
- Prepare concise reports, documentation, and presentations summarizing research findings, annotation rationales, and AI training outcomes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to communicate research insights, regulatory considerations, and AI model requirements to stakeholders.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying best practices for incorporating clinical and public health expertise in AI workflows.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Advanced experience in study design, research methodology, and evaluation of clinical trials or public health studies.
- Proficiency in data collection, statistical analysis, and interpretation using platforms such as SPSS, R, or SAS.
- Deep understanding of regulatory and ethical frameworks, including GCP, IRB procedures, and public health surveillance.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a proven ability to convey complex research findings to varied stakeholders.
- Attention to detail in preparing documentation, reports, and dataset annotations for AI training.
- Background in MPH, PhD in public health or epidemiology; MD, RN, PharmD, or similar clinical degree; or Bachelor’s/Master’s in Clinical Research or Life Sciences.
- Experience with stakeholder communication, including investigators, sponsors, policymakers, and the public.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience as a radiology, nursing, or laboratory professional involved in research and data-driven projects.
- Hands-on involvement with AI model development or clinical informatics solutions is a nice-to-have; no prior experience is needed.
- Familiarity with best practices for AI training and annotation in healthcare or public health contexts.
