Job Title: Human Data Manager -Longlist

Job Summary:

Join our customer's team as a Human Data Manager and play a pivotal role in advancing AI and robotics through high-quality video-based data curation. You will review contributor-generated video content, support a large community of trainers, and ensure operational excellence in a dynamic, impact-driven environment. This is a unique opportunity to influence the future of AI while working remotely with flexible hours.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Review short, first-person (POV) videos submitted by contributors, evaluating them against detailed quality guidelines for content, framing, visibility, and task accuracy.
  2. Identify common quality issues, differentiating between coachable and non-viable submissions, and deliver actionable, structured feedback to contributors.
  3. Support and coordinate a pod of approximately 75 trainers/contributors, addressing questions and clarifying guidelines.
  4. Actively unblock contributors, minimizing drop-offs and ensuring consistent workflow completion.
  5. Escalate quality or process-related issues to the Operations team for further resolution as needed.
  6. Track time and task completion accurately using Hubstaff and manage submissions via internal platforms and Google Sheets.
  7. Balance high review volumes while maintaining exceptional quality and consistency.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Exceptional attention to detail and sound judgment in evaluating visual data.
  2. Ability to objectively assess video content using structured guidelines and checklists.
  3. Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills, with a strong commitment to providing actionable feedback.
  4. Proven capability to manage workload and maintain quality under high-volume scenarios.
  5. Comfort navigating digital tools, including Google Sheets and video upload platforms.
  6. Stable internet connection and ability to track time diligently.
  7. Commitment to a minimum of 20 hours per week, with potential to scale up based on performance.


Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Previous experience in quality assurance, content moderation, or data labeling roles.
  2. Background in supporting or managing remote contributors, ideally in a training or coaching context.
  3. Familiarity with basic video recording, file uploads, or troubleshooting tech issues.
