Job Summary
Join our customer's team as a Camera Operator - AI Trainer and play a pivotal role at the intersection of cinematic artistry and cutting-edge AI technology. In this role, you’ll leverage your deep understanding of camera movement, shot types, and scene construction to help train, evaluate, and refine AI models in understanding and describing visual storytelling.
Key Responsibilities
- Watch a diverse range of video clips and deliver detailed, accurate descriptions of camera actions.
- Document key aspects of each scene, including framing, angle, and types of movement.
- Quality-assure and provide feedback on shot descriptions generated by AI systems.
- Assess and note visual continuity, composition, and scene dynamics.
- Collaborate remotely with a global team to synthesize feedback and enhance AI performance.
- Contribute to the development of best practices for visual storytelling annotation.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Hands-on experience operating cameras in film or television production environments.
- Expert-level understanding of camera language, including a mastery of movement and shot types.
- Ability to expertly construct scenes and describe the nuances of motion and composition.
- Exceptional spatial and visual awareness with an eye for detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a commitment to clarity and precision.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively and synthesize feedback in a fast-paced remote setting.
- Fluency in English at a native or C2 level.
- Availability to commit at least 30 hours per week for a project duration of approximately 2–4 weeks.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience with AI model training or data annotation in a media context.
- Background in film or TV production beyond camera operation, such as editing or directing.
- Strong interest in the intersection of technology and visual storytelling.
