Job Summary:
Join our team as a SAP ABAP Consultant and play a pivotal role in the implementation, management, and continuous improvement of our SAP ABAP landscape. Leveraging your deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA and strong focus on written communication within our async culture, you will drive complex development initiatives and deliver innovative solutions tailored to evolving business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement, manage, and optimize SAP ABAP solutions, ensuring robust performance and responsiveness across the SAP S/4HANA environment.
• Collaborate with functional consultants to analyze, translate, and deliver ABAP requirements for WRICEF objects, enhancements, and new business functionalities.
• Develop and maintain various SAP tools, including Enhancements, Conversion Programs, SAP Script, Smart Forms, LSMW, BDC, BAPI, BSP, ADOBE Forms, Workflows, Module Pool, IDOCS, and Webservices.
• Monitor daily SAP system operations, proactively identify improvement opportunities, and partner with support teams to implement changes and new technologies.
• Manage interfaces between SAP and third-party applications, ensuring seamless integration and process continuity.
• Conduct performance tuning, upgrades, and impact analysis for ABAP objects, applying best practices in code optimization and documentation.
• Prepare clear technical documentation, reports, and instructions while engaging stakeholders through detailed written communications.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, B. Tech, or MCA.
• 5-8 years of hands-on SAP ABAP experience, with at least 2 end-to-end S/4HANA implementations.
• Expert proficiency in ABAP Programming for SAP S/4 HANA cloud, including WRICEF, user exits, BADIs, enhancements, and transaction creation.
• Strong command of Conversion Programs (LSMW, BDC, BAPI), SAP Script, Smart Forms, ADOBE Forms, and Web Dynpro/BSP programming.
• In-depth exposure to Workflow configuration, Module Pool, Barcode programming, ALE/IDOC, and third-party application interfaces.
• Experience with BTP, ODATA services, WEB UI concepts, GENIL/BOL, and one order framework.
• Proficient in the use of OSS notes, SPDD, SPAU, Code Inspector, and other SAP development tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Prior experience with JAVA stacks, SAP NetWeaver, and EP technologies.
• Demonstrated ability to support system performance tuning, impact analysis, and effective change management.
• Strong written communication skills, thriving in an asynchronous team culture.
