In this pivotal role, you will support instructors, facilitate effective communication, and foster academic success in a virtual setting. Key Responsibilities

  1. Assist instructors in preparing and delivering course materials, assignments, and resources.
  2. Provide timely and constructive feedback on student assignments and discussions.
  3. Facilitate engaging online discussions and actively respond to student inquiries.
  4. Support students with academic guidance, clarifying course expectations and content.
  5. Maintain clear and professional written and verbal communication with students and faculty.
  6. Assist in grading, tracking student progress, and preparing reports for instructors.
  7. Contribute to a positive and inclusive virtual classroom culture.


Required Skills and Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
  2. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a strong attention to detail.
  3. Proficiency with online learning platforms and digital collaboration tools.
  4. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  5. Experience in postsecondary education, tutoring, or academic support roles.
  6. Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for supporting diverse learners.
  7. Ability to work independently and as a proactive team member in a remote environment.


Preferred Qualifications

  1. Experience as a teaching assistant in higher education settings.
  2. Background in educational technology or instructional design.
  3. Familiarity with accessible and inclusive teaching practices.
