Job Summary:

Join our customer's team as a First-Line Supervisor of Food Preparation and Serving Workers and play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of remote food service teams. This dynamic position requires a leader with a strong background in supervision, exceptional written and verbal communication skills, and a passion for team development and service excellence.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead, coach, and motivate remote food preparation and serving staff to deliver exceptional service and maintain high standards.
  2. Coordinate daily operations, assign responsibilities, and ensure timely completion of tasks.
  3. Monitor compliance with food safety, sanitation, and quality control guidelines.
  4. Resolve customer issues, feedback, and escalations with professionalism and care.
  5. Facilitate effective communication between team members and management through clear written and verbal updates.
  6. Oversee inventory control, equipment maintenance, and remote supply chain logistics.
  7. Provide ongoing training and performance feedback to drive continuous improvement.



Required Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Minimum 4 years of experience as a First-Line Supervisor in food preparation and serving roles (this is the #1 criterion).
  2. Proven track record of successfully leading teams within the food service industry.
  3. Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, with an emphasis on remote collaboration.
  4. Demonstrated supervisory and conflict resolution skills.
  5. Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving capabilities.
  6. Proficient in digital communication platforms and remote team management tools.
  7. Thorough understanding of food safety and quality service standards.



Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Recognition or awards for excellence in food service supervision.
  2. Experience managing remote or distributed teams.
  3. Advanced training in leadership or hospitality management.
