Job Summary: Join our customer's team as a Portuguese Language Expert (Portugal) and apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and correct machine-generated Portuguese (Portugal) transcriptions for accuracy and fluency.
- Record yourself reading corrected transcriptions in a quiet environment, using a standard laptop microphone.
- Ensure precise captioning and alignment of text with audio content.
- Provide feedback on linguistic nuances, pronunciation, and local language variations.
- Demonstrate meticulous attention to detail when identifying and amending errors in transcripts and captions.
- Collaborate with a remote team to deliver consistent, high-quality language data for AI model training.
- Maintain high standards of written and verbal communication throughout all project tasks.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Fluent-level proficiency in European Portuguese.
- Strong voice acting and clear verbal communication abilities.
- Keen attention to detail when reviewing language data and transcripts.
- Experience correcting, transcribing, or captioning Portuguese text and audio.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setup and meet project deadlines.
- Access to a quiet recording environment suitable for clear audio capture.
- No specialized equipment required—standard laptop microphone is acceptable.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Background in audio engineering, voice artistry, or voice acting.
- Experience working in call centers with voice training.
- Prior exposure to language data annotation or linguistic QA roles.
