Job Summary:

The Care Worker plays a vital role on our team, providing high-quality, compassionate care to clients in their homes or care facilities. This position supports clients in their daily routines, promotes independence, and contributes to a positive and dignified living experience.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and mobility support.
  2. Administer medication reminders and closely monitor clients’ health conditions.
  3. Support with household management, including cooking, cleaning, and laundry to maintain a comfortable environment.
  4. Offer meaningful companionship and emotional support, enhancing clients’ mental and emotional well-being.
  5. Maintain detailed care records and promptly report changes in client condition to supervisors or healthcare professionals.
  6. Follow care plans and healthcare providers’ instructions to ensure highest standards of care.
  7. Communicate proactively with clients, families, and our team to provide holistic and coordinated care.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Demonstrated compassion, patience, and empathy in caregiving roles.
  2. Strong written and verbal communication skills for engaging with clients, families, and colleagues.
  3. Basic knowledge of first aid and fundamental healthcare practices.
  4. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within our supportive team environment.
  5. Good interpersonal skills to foster trust and rapport with clients.
  6. Physical stamina to assist with mobility and personal care needs.


Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Previous experience in caregiving, healthcare, or social care settings.
  2. Relevant certifications or formal training in care work.
  3. Understanding of Japanese language or willingness to learn, to better communicate with clients.
