Job Summary:
The Care Worker plays a vital role on our team, providing high-quality, compassionate care to clients in their homes or care facilities. This position supports clients in their daily routines, promotes independence, and contributes to a positive and dignified living experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and mobility support.
- Administer medication reminders and closely monitor clients’ health conditions.
- Support with household management, including cooking, cleaning, and laundry to maintain a comfortable environment.
- Offer meaningful companionship and emotional support, enhancing clients’ mental and emotional well-being.
- Maintain detailed care records and promptly report changes in client condition to supervisors or healthcare professionals.
- Follow care plans and healthcare providers’ instructions to ensure highest standards of care.
- Communicate proactively with clients, families, and our team to provide holistic and coordinated care.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Demonstrated compassion, patience, and empathy in caregiving roles.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for engaging with clients, families, and colleagues.
- Basic knowledge of first aid and fundamental healthcare practices.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within our supportive team environment.
- Good interpersonal skills to foster trust and rapport with clients.
- Physical stamina to assist with mobility and personal care needs.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in caregiving, healthcare, or social care settings.
- Relevant certifications or formal training in care work.
- Understanding of Japanese language or willingness to learn, to better communicate with clients.
