Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Computer & Information Systems Manager Expert to join our customer’s team and play a pivotal role in driving technological excellence for AI training initiatives. This dynamic position will oversee daily operations of the IT department, lead project management efforts, and align technology strategies with organizational goals. The ideal candidate is both a hands-on technical leader and an effective communicator, passionate about advancing technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct the daily operations of the department, analyze workflows, set priorities, develop standards, and ensure timely project delivery.
• Collaborate with department heads, managers, vendors, and cross-functional teams to resolve problems and maximize cooperation.
• Review and coordinate project plans, assigning and overseeing the work of systems analysts, programmers, and IT professionals.
• Develop and implement robust data security, disaster recovery, and strategic computing policies.
• Provide comprehensive technical support and training to users, ensuring seamless IT operations.
• Oversee the recruitment, hiring, and professional development of technical staff.
• Evaluate technology usage, make recommendations for system improvements, and stay informed of emerging technologies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven expertise in database management systems such as Apache Cassandra, MongoDB, NoSQL platforms, and Oracle PL/SQL.
• Strong command of database user interface and query tools, including AWS, Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, and Blackboard.
• Demonstrated experience with development environments (Apache Maven, Eclipse IDE, .NET Framework, Visual Studio).
• Solid knowledge of enterprise resource planning software (Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle PeopleSoft, SAP).
• Proficiency in web platform development and cloud-based architectures.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to diverse audiences.
• Proven ability to manage projects, budgets, equipment purchases, and operational reports in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience managing technology for AI training programs or data-intensive environments.
• Track record of implementing organizational policies and leading large-scale system upgrades.
• Certifications in relevant IT management or cloud technologies.
