Join our customer’s team as a Latin Bilingual Expert and play a pivotal role in enriching language analysis and transcription projects. This unique position focuses on transcribing, analyzing, and interpreting Latin and English video content at a high level of linguistic and emotional depth.
Key Responsibilities
• Transcribe Latin and English video content with precise timestamps and contextual notes.
• Accurately describe the emotional state, intent, and tone of speakers throughout each video.
• Conduct in-depth grammatical, lexical, and conceptual analyses of spoken language.
• Outline and define conceptual meanings of words, phrases, and idiomatic expressions.
• Deliver clear, concise, and comprehensive written reports on language tasks.
• Collaborate with team members to uphold high linguistic standards and project deadlines.
• Continuously refine transcription quality using feedback and best practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications
• Professional fluency in both Latin and English, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven experience in transcription, linguistic analysis, or a related language field.
• Deep understanding of grammar, syntax, and tone in both Latin and English.
• Ability to interpret and articulate emotional nuances and context within spoken content.
• Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Proficiency in using digital collaboration and transcription tools.
• Availability to commit at least 15 hours per week, with a reliable internet connection.
Preferred Qualifications
