Key Responsibilities


  1. Analyze and annotate video content to enhance AI understanding of cinematic language and shot composition.
  2. Collaborate closely with AI development teams to design, test, and refine training data for video editing models.
  3. Develop clear documentation and guidelines to communicate video editing concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  4. Evaluate AI-generated video edits, providing detailed feedback on pacing, transitions, and visual storytelling.
  5. Stay current with industry trends in video editing and incorporate new techniques into AI training processes.
  6. Contribute to the continuous improvement of AI-driven editing tools by identifying areas for enhancement.
  7. Support the team with expertise in professional editing workflows and emerging cinematic techniques.



Required Skills and Qualifications


  1. Proven experience as a video editor with a strong portfolio demonstrating diverse editing styles.
  2. Deep understanding of cinematic language, visual storytelling, and shot composition.
  3. Strong analytical skills in breaking down video sequences and identifying narrative techniques.
  4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a passion for sharing knowledge.
  5. Ability to work independently and collaborate within a remote, cross-functional environment.
  6. Familiarity with popular video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
