Job Title: Senior Strategy Associate at growing Private Equity Fund

Job Summary:

Join our team as a Senior Strategy Associate and play a pivotal role in accelerating the growth of our fast-paced private equity fund. In this high-impact, hands-on position, you will balance strategic planning with operational execution, directly influencing how we source, evaluate, and scale new investments.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the creation and refinement of investor presentations and quarterly reporting decks using advanced PowerPoint skills.
  • Develop and maintain robust financial models in Excel to assess new acquisitions and support ongoing portfolio management.
  • Conduct comprehensive market research and competitive analysis to inform deal sourcing and investment strategy.
  • Partner with our COO and leadership to optimize fund-level operational processes and implement best-in-class workflow systems.
  • Drive end-to-end project ownership, from initial analysis and ideation to execution and follow-up on strategic initiatives.
  • Communicate critical insights and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders with clarity and precision, both in writing and verbally.
  • Ensure seamless coordination across functions, leveraging tools like Slack to maintain high-velocity execution and transparency.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience at an MBB consulting firm, top-tier investment bank, or equivalent strategic/analytical environment.
  • Exceptional proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel for presentations and financial modeling.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple, complex projects simultaneously in a fast-moving setting.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to distill complex concepts into actionable insights.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative reasoning skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ownership mentality and a drive to proactively solve problems and streamline operations.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Light software engineering skills: you + ChatGPT can figure out how to hook up and run different AI Agents to help support the business growth
  • Experience in private equity, investment management, or transaction services.
  • Track record of impressing sophisticated LPs and supporting multi-million-dollar transactions.
  • Familiarity with fund-level operations, process optimization, and digital collaboration tools.
