Job Summary:

Join our customer’s team as a System Administrator Expert, where your expertise in systems configuration will play a pivotal role in supporting advanced AI training initiatives. You will be responsible for ensuring robust system performance and providing critical insights that drive the evolution of intelligent systems. This role offers the unique opportunity to shape AI models with your technical acumen in a fully remote environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Configure, monitor, and maintain server and system environments to ensure optimal performance and security.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate and implement systems tailored for AI training and evaluation.
  3. Develop and document best practices, processes, and protocols for systems management and troubleshooting.
  4. Diagnose and resolve complex system issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum reliability.
  5. Provide training and support to team members on system usage, maintenance, and security protocols.
  6. Contribute insights to enhance the integration between traditional IT systems and AI-driven workflows.
  7. Continuously monitor system health and proactively address potential threats or inefficiencies.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Proven experience as a System Administrator with a strong focus on systems configuration and management.
  2. Expert-level understanding of server environments, virtualization, and network protocols.
  3. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for detailed documentation and team collaboration.
  4. Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve a wide range of system-related issues.
  5. Experience with security best practices and disaster recovery planning.
  6. A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous learning and innovation.
  7. Ability to work independently in a dynamic, remote-first environment.


Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Familiarity or experience with AI training workflows and their system requirements.
  2. Experience supporting or evaluating AI models from a systems perspective.
  3. Certifications in system administration, cloud technologies, or related areas.
