Key Responsibilities
- Develop, optimize, and validate mass spectrometry methods for qualitative and quantitative analyses of complex samples.
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot mass spectrometry instruments and associated laboratory equipment.
- Interpret, analyze, and report data with precision, ensuring scientific accuracy and integrity.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with research, development, and quality teams to support project goals and timelines.
- Document experimental procedures, results, and conclusions in clear, comprehensive reports.
- Stay current with advancements in mass spectrometry technologies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Communicate project progress and findings effectively through both written reports and verbal presentations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Advanced knowledge and hands-on experience in mass spectrometry techniques and instrumentation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets.
- Proficiency in method development, troubleshooting, and maintenance of MS systems.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, with a keen attention to clarity and detail.
- Experience working with multidisciplinary teams in a scientific or technical environment.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote setting.
- MS or PhD in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Analytical Science, or related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with data analysis software specific to mass spectrometry (e.g., Xcalibur, MassLynx, or similar).
- Publication record or experience presenting research findings at scientific conferences.
- Familiarity with regulatory or quality standards in analytical laboratories.
