Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop, optimize, and validate mass spectrometry methods for qualitative and quantitative analyses of complex samples.
  2. Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot mass spectrometry instruments and associated laboratory equipment.
  3. Interpret, analyze, and report data with precision, ensuring scientific accuracy and integrity.
  4. Collaborate cross-functionally with research, development, and quality teams to support project goals and timelines.
  5. Document experimental procedures, results, and conclusions in clear, comprehensive reports.
  6. Stay current with advancements in mass spectrometry technologies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  7. Communicate project progress and findings effectively through both written reports and verbal presentations.



Required Skills and Qualifications

  1. Advanced knowledge and hands-on experience in mass spectrometry techniques and instrumentation.
  2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets.
  3. Proficiency in method development, troubleshooting, and maintenance of MS systems.
  4. Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, with a keen attention to clarity and detail.
  5. Experience working with multidisciplinary teams in a scientific or technical environment.
  6. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote setting.
  7. MS or PhD in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Analytical Science, or related field.



Preferred Qualifications

  1. Experience with data analysis software specific to mass spectrometry (e.g., Xcalibur, MassLynx, or similar).
  2. Publication record or experience presenting research findings at scientific conferences.
  3. Familiarity with regulatory or quality standards in analytical laboratories.
