Job Summary:

Utilize your expertise to support innovative projects focused on training AI models with biological data. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of biology and artificial intelligence from a fully remote setting.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Analyze and annotate complex biological datasets to improve AI model training processes.
  2. Collaborate with data scientists and AI engineers to ensure biological accuracy in project deliverables.
  3. Review, validate, and correct model outputs for scientific relevance and precision.
  4. Develop guidelines and best practices for handling diverse biological data types.
  5. Stay current with advancements in biology and relevant AI technologies to inform project strategies.
  6. Provide feedback and insights to optimize data labeling workflows.
  7. Communicate findings and recommendations to interdisciplinary team members.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Advance degree in Biology or a closely related field.
  2. Minimum of 3 years of professional experience as a biologist, with demonstrated expertise in biological data.
  3. Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  4. Experience working with large and complex biological datasets.
  5. Ability to interpret and validate biological information within technical frameworks.
  6. Comfort with remote, cross-functional collaboration and project management tools.
  7. Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.


Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience in AI training projects or data annotation workflows.
  2. Advanced degree (MS/PhD) in a biological science.
  3. Familiarity with bioinformatics tools and computational biology concepts.
