Job Summary:

Wholesome Goods, Inc is seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Staff Accountant to join our team in Clearwater, FL. As a key member of our growing finance department, you will play a pivotal role in managing both Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) processes within our dynamic, international e-commerce environment. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual passionate about accounting, technology, and global business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Generate, send, and reconcile accurate invoices for domestic and international customers, managing multi-currency transactions with efficiency.
• Monitor customer accounts, follow up on outstanding payments, and resolve AR discrepancies with a proactive approach.
• Process vendor invoices and payments, including international transactions, and ensure compliance with company policies and proper approvals.
• Maintain up-to-date and accurate AR/AP records, considering currency fluctuations and international payment methods.
• Assist with month-end AR/AP closing procedures, reconciliations, accruals, and related financial reporting.
• Collaborate closely with customer service, sales, and cross-functional teams to resolve billing and vendor inquiries.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives and support audits, always considering the global scope of our operations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience in Accounts Receivable and/or Accounts Payable.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, Google Sheets, and familiarity with Shopify or similar e-commerce platforms.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and core accounting principles.
• Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally, within diverse and international teams.
• A collaborative mindset with the ability to work both independently and as part of our team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the e-commerce industry and with Asana or similar task management systems.
• Direct experience in international AR/AP processes, including multi-currency transactions.
• Background supporting audits and financial reviews in global business environments.
