Job Summary:

Join our team of Construction Painters and take pride in enhancing the appearance and longevity of buildings and structures across Japan. In these hands-on, full-time roles, they play a crucial role in applying quality finishes, ensuring that every project meets our exceptional standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare and clean surfaces by removing old paint, filling holes, and sanding for optimal adhesion.
  2. Mix, match, and apply paints, varnishes, and coatings to interior and exterior surfaces.
  3. Inspect finished work for uniformity, coverage, and high-quality finish.
  4. Select and maintain painting supplies, ensuring safe and efficient use of equipment.
  5. Read and interpret work orders and specifications for each project.
  6. Collaborate with other construction team members to coordinate schedules and project requirements.
  7. Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with local regulations and site standards.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Proven experience in construction painting or a similar trade.
  2. Thorough knowledge of paint types, surface preparation methods, and application techniques.
  3. Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering flawless finishes.
  4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, essential for collaborating with team members and supervisors.
  5. Ability to interpret plans, blueprints, and specifications.
  6. Familiarity with safe work practices and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  7. Physical stamina to work on ladders, scaffolds, and in varied weather conditions.


Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Certification or formal training in painting or a related field.
  2. Experience with specialized coatings or industrial painting techniques.
  3. Conversational Japanese language skills are an asset.
