Job Title: Technical Recruiter (LATAM)
Job Type: Full-Time
Location: Remote (LATAM-based)
Job Summary:
Join our team as our first foundational Recruiter and play a pivotal role in building and owning the technical talent pipeline across LATAM while working directly with our CEO and co-founder. This is a unique opportunity to act as a "player-coach," driving full-cycle recruitment for high-growth US startups and directly impacting the growth of a new company from the ground up. Key Responsibilities:
- Own and manage the full-cycle recruitment process for US-based startup clients, from sourcing to offer acceptance.
- Spearhead technical recruiting for roles such as Software Engineers (all levels), DevOps, Data Scientists, and Engineering Managers.
- Develop robust sourcing strategies to build and maintain a pipeline of both active and passive candidates in key LATAM tech hubs.
- Expand recruitment capabilities to cover Marketing and Finance roles as client needs evolve.
- Act as a strategic partner to clients, gaining deep understanding of their tech stacks, culture, and hiring standards to ensure perfect matches.
- Provide expert market insights on LATAM talent, compensation trends, and hiring strategies.
- Champion an exceptional candidate experience, serving as a brand ambassador for our firm and our clients.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in full-cycle recruiting, with at least 3 years focused on technical/engineering roles.
- Proven track record of successfully placing software engineers and technical talent in high-growth settings.
- Deep knowledge of the LATAM tech talent landscape, including key hubs, cultural nuances, and compensation benchmarks.
- Experience recruiting for high-growth startups or within fast-paced agency/RPO environments; adept at meeting "startup speed" demands.
- Full professional fluency in English is required.
- Full professional fluency in Spanish or Portuguese is required.
- Must be based in Latin America.
- Highly autonomous, organized, self-motivated, and comfortable navigating the ambiguity of an early-stage company. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience recruiting for both technical and business roles (e.g., Marketing, Finance).
- Agency background or experience partnering directly with US-based hiring managers.
