You will leverage your expertise in lighting, shot composition, and cinematic storytelling to review and interpret short video clips, ensuring AI systems learn to understand scenes as a seasoned filmmaker would. Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret short video clips, detailing shot types, angles, and camera movements.
- Evaluate lighting, framing, and visual storytelling elements to determine cinematic intent.
- Validate, enhance, or correct AI-generated scene and shot descriptions for accuracy and clarity.
- Provide rich context on scene mood, character emotion, and narrative cues.
- Deliver concise, constructive feedback to improve AI visual understanding.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to refine annotation guidelines and visual datasets.
- Document and communicate findings clearly in both written and verbal formats.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Professional or academic background in cinematography, film production, or equivalent field.
- Demonstrated expertise in lighting, shot composition, and storytelling through camera language.
- Strong analytical skills for scene breakdown and cinematic interpretation.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on clarity and precision.
- Ability to provide actionable, constructive feedback and work collaboratively.
- English proficiency at Native/C2 level.
- Ability to commit at least 30 hours per week for ~2-4 weeks.

- Portfolio of work or film credits showcasing visual storytelling skills.
- Experience working with AI, machine learning, or creative technology teams.
