As a Front-end Lead on our team, you’ll architect and drive the development of intuitive, high-performance user interfaces that empower students and professors globally. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead frontend development, taking full ownership of UI architecture and component design
• Deliver robust, responsive, and elegant user interfaces using React and Next.js
• Optimize performance, loading speed, and scalability to support heavy traffic and collaborative workflows
• Collaborate asynchronously with backend, ML, and product teams to ship high-impact features
• Implement complex interface elements, including collaborative UI components and a custom PDF reader
• Uphold technical excellence across browsers, devices, and platforms
• Promote best practices in code quality, maintainability, and technical documentation

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Expert-level experience with React and Next.js, demonstrated in large-scale applications
• Track record of building high-performance, optimized frontend solutions
• Strong proficiency in frontend architecture, scalability, and responsive design
• Meticulous attention to technical detail and performance metrics
• Excellent written communication skills, thriving in an async-first, documentation-rich environment
• Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and drive results in a fast-paced startup
• Experience collaborating closely with cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Electron.js, React Native, or similar frameworks for cross-platform support
• Familiarity with Mantine component library, Node.js, and Fastify backend
• Background in B2C products with significant user bases or high-performance requirements
