Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver real-time live chat support to veterans, job seekers, and employers, addressing inquiries about services, job opportunities, and career coaching.
- Troubleshoot issues and concerns, providing effective solutions or escalating to relevant team members as needed.
- Guide veterans through job search activities, from resume submission to job matching and interview preparation.
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of our services, job listings, and veteran resources to provide accurate, helpful responses.
- Document all chat interactions in our CRM system for follow-up and quality assurance.
- Collaborate closely with recruitment, career advisors, and client management teams to ensure client and candidate needs are met efficiently.
- Collect feedback from users to enhance service offerings and contribute to continuous process improvements.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience in customer service or support roles, with a focus on live chat, email, or phone-based environments.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly and concisely convey complex information.
- Proficiency with live chat software (Zendesk, Intercom, etc.), CRM tools, and the ability to quickly adapt to new technologies.
- Outstanding problem-solving abilities and resourcefulness in addressing customer needs while adhering to company policies.
- Demonstrates empathy, patience, and a genuine commitment to helping others, especially veterans.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize multiple chats and tasks effectively in a remote setting.
- Interest in supporting veterans’ career advancement and understanding their unique challenges.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in recruitment, career coaching, or supporting veterans in their career transition.
- Familiarity with veteran-specific job platforms, CRM tools (Salesforce, Freshdesk), and customer support technology.
- Military service experience or knowledge of military culture is highly desirable.
