Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist with the preparation, cooking, and presentation of a variety of dishes to the highest standards.
  2. Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with recipes, portion control, and food safety regulations.
  3. Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen workspace at all times.
  4. Support senior chefs in daily operations and kitchen management tasks.
  5. Monitor stock levels and communicate requirements for ingredients and supplies.
  6. Adhere to all hygiene, sanitation, and safety protocols.
  7. Contribute to a positive team culture by collaborating effectively with colleagues.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Commis I in a well-known brand known for robust training programs.
  2. Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  3. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  4. Comprehensive knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen equipment.
  5. Demonstrated understanding of food safety standards and best practices.
  6. Smart, tidy appearance and professional demeanor.
  7. Proven ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.


Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Leadership skills with a background in kitchen management and overall production.
  2. Track record of supporting or leading teams in high-volume settings.
