Job Summary

Join our customer’s team as a dedicated Child, Family, and School Social Worker and make a tangible impact in the lives of children, families, and educational communities. In this fully remote role, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to foster positive outcomes, address challenges, and promote well-being in diverse populations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess client needs and develop individualized support plans to address educational, behavioral, and social challenges.
  • Serve as a liaison between families, schools, and community agencies to ensure effective communication and coordinated care.
  • Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and resource referrals to children and families facing difficult circumstances.
  • Advocate for students’ rights to a safe and supportive learning environment, ensuring equitable access to services.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and prepare thorough reports in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Lead and participate in virtual workshops, support groups, and educational sessions for families and school staff.
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices, policies, and legislation relevant to child and family welfare in educational settings.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Work or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Current licensure (or eligibility) as a Social Worker.
  • Demonstrated experience working with children, families, and schools—preferably in a remote or diverse setting.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with a caring and empathetic approach.
  • Strong organizational and documentation abilities with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in virtual communication platforms and digital case management tools.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team culture.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly valued.
  • Experience delivering tele-social work services or remote counseling.
  • Advanced knowledge of trauma-informed care and evidence-based practices.
