Job Summary

Join our team as an Offshore Civil Engineering Worker and play a crucial role in constructing, maintaining, and repairing offshore civil structures in Japan’s dynamic marine environment. You will work aboard a working vessel, handle specialized equipment, and contribute to major marine engineering projects while upholding the highest safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Participate actively in offshore construction, renovation, and repair tasks on marine vessels.
2. Operate piling and heavy construction machinery as part of marine engineering projects.
3. Assist in maintaining, inspecting, and troubleshooting vessel equipment and onboard systems.
4. Support piling and marine construction operations, ensuring strict adherence to safety and quality protocols.
5. Collaborate closely with supervisors and team leaders to execute assigned duties efficiently.
6. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment on the vessel at all times.
7. Comply with all company regulations and contribute to a strong culture of safety within the team.

Required Skills and Qualifications

1. Possession of Specified Skilled Worker Type 1 (SSW-1) visa eligibility.
2. Male candidates with high school diploma or higher education.
3. Successful completion of Specified Skills (i) Evaluation Exam for Construction Industry or Trade Skills Test Level 3.
4. Japanese proficiency (JFT-Basic or JLPT N4 or above) or completion of Technical Intern Training Program Level II/III.
5. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a commitment to clear team interaction.
6. Demonstrated ability to follow instructions, prioritize safety, and work effectively in an offshore environment.
7. Physically fit and willing to work in varying weather and sea conditions.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Practical experience in well drilling (percussion or rotary), frame working, reinforcing bar construction, scaffolding, or concrete pressure feeding.
2. Hands-on skills in dozing, loading, excavating, road rolling, ironwork, painting, or welding operations.
