Key Responsibilities:
• Manage job scheduling and conduct in-depth log analysis using Control-M to ensure robust batch processing.
• Monitor and diagnose DataStage data pipeline failures, proactively identifying root causes and delivering timely resolutions.
• Execute and optimize SQL queries, including selects and subqueries, to support troubleshooting and data validation efforts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to escalate and resolve complex technical issues.
• Maintain thorough documentation of issues, solutions, and best practices to enhance process efficiency.
• Provide clear, professional written and verbal communication with stakeholders at all levels.
• Continuously seek opportunities to automate monitoring tasks and streamline support processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Proven expertise in SQL, including writing complex selects and subqueries for data validation and troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with Control-M for job scheduling and log analysis.
• Strong proficiency in DataStage or similar ETL/data pipeline tools.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Solid problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented mindset.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple support tasks in a remote setting.
• Proactive, accountable, and committed to delivering high-quality results.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Exposure to automation or scripting tools for process improvement.
• Experience supporting large-scale, mission-critical data environments.
• Familiarity with ITIL or similar support frameworks.
