Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end payroll processing for all employees, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

• Oversee the full payroll cycle, including data collection, calculation, verification, and distribution of payroll.

• Ensure timely and accurate payroll disbursement and reporting.

• Maintain payroll systems and safeguard data integrity, security, and confidentiality.

• Prepare and submit payroll reports, tax filings, and other regulatory documentation accurately and on time.

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to streamline payroll processes and systems.

• Collaborate with HR, Finance, and other departments to resolve payroll-related inquiries and issues.

• Manage payroll audits, resolve discrepancies, and coordinate with benefits and timekeeping systems.

• Lead, mentor, and develop payroll team members to enhance performance and knowledge.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field preferred.

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience managing payroll functions in a medium to large organization.

• Strong knowledge of payroll laws, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.

• Proficiency with payroll software and HRIS systems.

• Excellent analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.

• Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• High level of discretion and professionalism in handling confidential information.


Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with [specific payroll software].

• CPP or similar payroll certification.

• Prior experience in a hybrid or multi-jurisdictional payroll environment.
