Key Responsibilities

  1. Design and build robust financial modeling tasks, referencing precise source documents and internet URLs for unambiguous data sourcing.
  2. Create highly detailed prompts and execution plans, enabling AI systems to construct comprehensive models from scratch.
  3. Develop gold-standard reference model files and objective rubrics for task accuracy, formatting, and advanced financial criteria.
  4. Construct detailed tasks across core domains such as DCF with WACC, trading comps, precedent transactions, and integrated 3-statement models.
  5. Develop advanced and industry-specific models, including LBO, merger, REIT conversion, sale leaseback, and bespoke transaction structures.
  6. Deliver due diligence analyses for specialized verticals (e.g., unit economics, cohort trends), ensuring real-world fidelity.
  7. Collaborate with cross-functional AI development teams, maintaining clear written and verbal communication throughout task lifecycle.


Required Skills and Qualifications

  1. 5+ years’ experience as a banker or financial modeling specialist within top-tier U.S. companies (investment banking, private equity, hedge fund, tech, or corporate development).
  2. Expert-level proficiency in valuation analysis, financial modeling, and deal modeling across diverse structures and industries.
  3. Demonstrated capability to design, build, and audit integrated 3-statement models, DCFs, LBOs, and bespoke transaction models from scratch.
  4. Advanced analytical and quantitative skills, with exceptional attention to detail and data accuracy.
  5. Strong written and verbal communication abilities—comfortable documenting methodologies and collaborating with technical and non-technical teams alike.
  6. Experience sourcing and referencing financial data from primary filings (10-Ks, data rooms, etc.) with high fidelity.
  7. Proven ability to work independently, delivering high-quality results in a remote, asynchronous environment.


Preferred Qualifications

  1. Background in both investment banking (analyst/associate/VP) and buy-side roles (PE, hedge fund, growth equity, VC, or corp dev finance).
  2. Experience designing evaluation rubrics for technical or educational content.
  3. Familiarity with advanced due diligence and bespoke transaction models (spinouts, RMTs, IP licensing).
