Job Summary
We are seeking passionate and skilled Bartenders to join our team in Macau, specializing in an authentic Japanese-style bar experience. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will deliver refined guest service inspired by omotenashi, focusing on precision, presentation, and the unique traditions of Japanese bartending.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve an exceptional range of Japanese cocktails, highballs, and drinks featuring sake, shochu, umeshu, and Japanese whisky
- Exhibit mastery of Japanese bartending techniques, including hard shake, precise ice work, and classic highball preparation
- Uphold meticulous standards of cleanliness, glassware presentation, and organized bar setup
- Deliver calm, attentive, and detail-oriented hospitality consistent with omotenashi principles
- Support inventory management, stock rotation, and effective bar opening and closing procedures
- Collaborate closely with our team to consistently elevate the guest experience
- Communicate clearly with guests and colleagues, ensuring seamless service and problem resolution
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of bartending experience in a Japanese bar, izakaya, whisky bar, or Japanese-influenced cocktail program
- Strong knowledge of Japanese spirits, cocktails, and traditional preparation techniques
- Exceptional attention to detail in service, presentation, and bar hygiene
- Proven excellence in customer service, professionalism, and collaborative teamwork
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to maintain composure and deliver refined service in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Japanese language proficiency or cultural familiarity with Japanese hospitality
- Experience working in high-end, Japanese-concept venues
