Job Summary
Join our customer’s team as a Venture Capital Partner and play a pivotal role in identifying, investing in, and supporting high-potential startups in dynamic markets. This is an exciting opportunity to drive innovation, shape the next generation of market leaders, and leverage your entrepreneurial acumen in a fully remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Originate, evaluate, and lead venture investments, conducting rigorous due diligence and market analysis.
- Develop and nurture long-term relationships with entrepreneurs, co-investors, and industry experts.
- Drive portfolio value creation by advising startups on business development, fundraising, and go-to-market strategies.
- Represent the customer’s team at industry events, pitch sessions, and networking opportunities to enhance deal flow and brand visibility.
- Develop investment theses and present clear, compelling recommendations to internal committees.
- Monitor portfolio performance and provide strategic guidance to optimize growth and mitigate risk.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to refine investment strategies and contribute to thought leadership initiatives.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proven track record in venture capital, private equity, or startup leadership roles.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a strong ability to articulate complex ideas.
- Deep analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling and market research.
- Demonstrated success in sourcing, negotiating, and closing investment opportunities.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, remote work environment with minimal supervision.
- Experience mentoring founders or operating within high-growth technology sectors.
Preferred Qualifications
- Postgraduate degree in business, finance, or a related field.
- Established network across venture capital, private equity, and technology ecosystems.
- Experience with international deal sourcing and portfolio management.
