Job Summary

Join our customer's team as a Civil Engineer - AI trainer, where your expertise in structural and design engineering will directly contribute to advancing AI models. In this unique role, you’ll bridge the gap between real-world civil engineering and cutting-edge artificial intelligence, impacting how future infrastructure projects are planned, designed, and executed.


Key Responsibilities

  • Leverage your engineering knowledge to train and enhance AI models relevant to civil, structural, and design engineering domains.
  • Analyze complex engineering challenges and provide clear, actionable input for AI development teams.
  • Contribute engineering expertise toward the planning, design, and oversight of building structures, transportation networks, water systems, and more.
  • Collaborate with data scientists and product managers to ensure AI outputs reflect industry best practices.
  • Review and interpret civil engineering data, drawings, and project documentation for integration into AI models.
  • Provide authoritative written and verbal feedback to refine AI decision-making processes.
  • Continuously identify and communicate opportunities for AI applications in civil engineering projects.


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience as a City Engineer, Civil Engineer, County Engineer, Design Engineer, Engineer, Geotechnical Engineer, Licensed Engineer, Project Engineer, Railroad Design Consultant, or Structural Engineer.
  • Strong knowledge of structural and design engineering principles, including planning, design, construction, and maintenance.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities with a solution-focused mindset.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for diverse audiences.
  • Proficient in interpreting engineering drawings, project plans, and technical documentation.
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working autonomously in a remote environment.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience collaborating on AI, machine learning, or data-driven engineering projects.
  • Familiarity with digital tools for engineering design and analysis.
  • Previous involvement in training or mentoring others in technical settings.
