Job Summary:
Join our customer's team as an AI Prompt Specialist, and excel at crafting and evaluating advanced prompts and quality rubrics for exam questions. You’ll leverage your research background to drive deep model reasoning and ensure rigorous, transparent evaluation without generating the answers yourself.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prompt Engineering: Rewrite expert-level exam questions into clear, robust prompts that guide multi-step LLM reasoning.
- Rubric Design: Develop detailed, multi-criteria scoring systems to assess model outputs for correctness, logical flow, and depth.
- Domain Expertise: Apply your subject-matter knowledge (e.g., philosophy, ethics, STEM) to maintain academic rigor in prompts and rubrics.
- Evaluation Oversight: Partner with evaluators to apply rubrics consistently, identify reasoning failures (hallucinations, shortcuts), and deliver actionable feedback.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a closely related field.
- Experience writing or reviewing academic research papers.
- Current or prior role as an AI researcher, AI scientist, or in a similar research-focused position.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to clearly articulate complex ideas.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong interest in bridging academic research with practical product development.
- Experience or familiarity with Agentic AI and Data Foundry.
