Key Responsibilities:
- Transcribe audio and video recordings into clear, accurate text documents within set deadlines.
- Review, edit, and proofread transcripts to ensure quality, accuracy, and consistency.
- Utilize transcription software, tools, and technology to maximize efficiency and maintain formatting standards.
- Adhere to project-specific guidelines, confidentiality agreements, and data protection protocols.
- Manage workflow efficiently, prioritizing and organizing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Collaborate with team members and clients to clarify content and resolve ambiguities in recordings.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of terminology, best practices, and transcription conventions.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
- Fast and accurate typing skills, with a proven ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency with transcription software, audio playback tools, and word processing applications.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a high-volume workflow independently.
- Excellent listening skills, with the ability to discern accents, dialects, and challenging recordings.
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering error-free work.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience working as a professional transcriptionist or in a related field.
- Familiarity with specialized terminology (e.g., legal, medical, or technical transcription).
- Experience working in a remote, team-oriented environment.
