Job Summary:

Join our customer's team as a Japanese Voice Actor and contribute your unique voice to cutting-edge AI technology. You will record high-quality audio in Japanese for AI training purposes, collaborating with a renowned AI lab client. This dynamic, part-time opportunity allows you to work remotely while delivering authentic, emotionally resonant performances.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Record Japanese voice-over content using professional-grade audio equipment for AI development projects.
  • Deliver a minimum of 20 hours of recording per week, consistently maintaining exceptional audio quality.
  • Express a wide range of emotions and character nuances as required by project scripts.
  • Collaborate closely with project coordinators and technical teams to ensure alignment with client requirements.
  • Participate in remote interviews and performance assessments using your home recording setup.
  • Adhere strictly to timelines and delivery standards set by the customer's team and client guidelines.
  • Maintain confidentiality and compliance with all data handling protocols related to AI training materials.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Native-level fluency in Japanese with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in professional voice acting, with a portfolio or audio samples available.
  • Proficient in utilizing high-quality audio recording equipment and editing software.
  • Strong attention to audio clarity, tone, and consistency across multiple recordings.
  • Reliable home studio setup with soundproofing to ensure clean, noise-free submissions (please provide full details of your equipment).
  • Flexible availability for at least 20 hours per week, including participation in interviews using your existing equipment.
  • Ability to express emotion and adapt voice to varied scripts as demonstrated during interview assessments.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with audio interfaces such as EMU 404 USB and microphones like AKG P220 or Rode NT1, and headphones such as AKG K271 Mk2.
  • Background in large-scale AI, gaming, or commercial voiceover projects.
  • Hands-on experience collaborating remotely with distributed creative teams.
