Job Title: Petroleum Engineer
Job Type: Contract (Full-time or Part-time)

Job Summary:
Join our customer's team as a Petroleum Engineer, where you'll play a vital role in training advanced AI systems on specialized petroleum engineering topics. Collaborate remotely with industry experts and contribute to transformative advancements by sharing your technical knowledge in a dynamic, innovative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver in-depth technical expertise in reservoir engineering, production, and drilling to empower AI-driven learning models.
- Produce and review detailed technical documentation on petroleum engineering concepts, processes, and best practices.
- Utilize your understanding of thermodynamics and fluid mechanics to create and validate AI training datasets.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with data scientists and AI engineers to ensure accuracy and relevance of technical content.
- Interpret well logging and testing data for integration into AI algorithms and digital tools.
- Apply your proficiency in computer modeling software (e.g., Eclipse, CMG) to simulate reservoir behavior and optimize content creation.
- Communicate complex engineering principles clearly through both written and verbal channels to technical and non-technical audiences.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or related discipline.
- 5 years of experience as a Drilling Engineer, Petroleum Engineer or similar positions.
- Comprehensive knowledge of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and materials science.
- Familiarity with geology, geophysics basics, well logging, and testing methodologies.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to distill and convey complex concepts effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience collaborating with AI or technology teams.
- Deep understanding of AI applications in the energy sector.
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently and independently in a remote setting.
