Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Audio transcription Expert to join our customer's team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, accurate transcripts of complex audio content in multiple languages. Your linguistic skills, keen attention to detail, and ability to tackle intricate transcription tasks will be essential to the team's success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Listen to complex audio files and produce precise written transcripts according to project guidelines and quality standards.
- Handle transcription tasks spanning various languages, dialects, and subject matter.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and data security across all transcribed material.
- Collaborate closely with project managers and fellow transcriptionists to ensure consistency and accuracy.
- Review and proofread transcripts for accuracy, grammar, and context, making necessary corrections.
- Utilize and adapt to new transcription tools, software, and AI technologies as required.
- Provide timely feedback on audio quality issues and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven expertise in audio transcription, particularly with multi-speaker and technically complex material.
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills, demonstrating care and clarity in every interaction.
- Fluency in at least one language in addition to English; multilingual candidates strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with AI transcription tools or previous experience training AI models is a plus.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy under tight deadlines.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Demonstrated discretion and commitment to professionalism in handling sensitive audio data.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience transcribing content with complex or domain-specific vocabulary.
- Background in linguistics, localization, or speech data processing.
- Experience working on teams supporting AI or machine learning development.
