Job Title: Network and Security Engineer

Job Summary

Join our team as a Network and Security Engineer and play a pivotal role in shaping the security posture and network resilience of Miral Experiences. You will be part of a dynamic Network and Security Operations team, entrusted with the responsibility of building, maintaining, and advancing secure network infrastructures for leading entertainment and leisure properties. Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead, design, implement, and maintain end-to-end network and security infrastructure solutions across both on-premises and cloud environments.
  2. Continuously assess and enhance the security and resilience of our network, ensuring alignment with emerging technologies and evolving business needs.
  3. Drive proactive network changes based on technology trends, business demands, and audit findings, ensuring comprehensive documentation and closure of projects.
  4. Conduct routine maintenance, failover tests, and resilience drills to monitor network health against established thresholds and business continuity benchmarks.
  5. Perform incident response and closure within defined SLAs, maintaining thorough RCA and knowledge base documentation.
  6. Support the development and management of network and security budgets, and align with IT risk management and audit initiatives.
  7. Champion a culture of continuous development, quick learning, and teamwork, while excelling in a high-pressure, low-supervision environment.


Required Skills and Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
  2. Minimum 7 years of direct experience in networking and security engineering roles.
  3. Professional certifications including CCNP Enterprise and CCNP Security (or FCP/PCNSA).
  4. Expertise in designing and troubleshooting LAN/WAN, datacenter networking, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS), advanced switching protocols, firewalls, and security solutions.
  5. Hands-on experience with Cisco Catalyst, Nexus (ACI/NX-OS), Aruba, and Ruckus wireless systems, as well as Fortinet, Palo Alto, Juniper, and Sophos Next-Gen Firewalls.
  6. Advanced knowledge of cloud and datacenter networking, SD-WAN, multicast/streaming protocols, monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Riverbed, PRTG), and ITIL frameworks.
  7. Strong written communication skills, a can-do attitude, and the ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively.


Preferred Qualifications

  1. CCIE Enterprise or Security, CCNP Datacenter, and/or ITIL Certification.
  2. Experience with Multi-Pod Cisco ACI, Cisco DNA, Meraki, and enterprise telephony platforms.
  3. Exposure to WAF/ADC solutions (Citrix, F5, Sophos, Azure GW) and NAC/AAA solutions (ClearPass, Cisco ISE, NetScout).
