Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented Portuguese (PT) Voice Actor to join our customer's team for an exciting AI training project with a major AI lab client. In this dynamic, remote role, you will lend your authentic voice to cutting-edge technology, helping to shape the next generation of AI while collaborating with passionate professionals.

Please note: the interview and project recordings must be conducted using your best audio setup.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform high-quality voice recordings in European Portuguese (PT) for AI training and language data collection.
2. Deliver clear, natural, and expressive vocal performances based on provided scripts and creative briefs.
3. Accurately portray various emotions, intonations, and character nuances as required by project guidelines.
4. Ensure all recordings meet strict audio quality standards using professional-grade equipment.
5. Collaborate with our customer’s team to provide timely feedback and implement suggested revisions.
6. Maintain a minimum commitment of 20 hours per week for ongoing assignments.
7. Adhere to deadlines and participate in virtual check-ins as required by the project manager.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

1. Native or near-native proficiency in European Portuguese (PT).
2. Demonstrated voice acting experience with a professional portfolio or samples.
3. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
4. Access to high-quality audio equipment and recording environment (e.g., microphones such as Shure SM7B, Rode NT1, Audio-Technica AT2020, AKG C214, or similar).
5. Ability to follow technical instructions for file formatting and submission.
6. Self-motivated and highly organized with excellent time management skills.
7. Reliable internet connection for remote collaboration and project delivery.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Prior experience working on AI, speech synthesis, or language data collection projects.
2. Background in acting, radio, podcasting, or other voice-focused disciplines.
3. Strong adaptability to different roles and script requirements.

Additional Info: Please note that the interview will require use of your home studio setup. You will be asked to read sample lines and express various emotions using your actual recording equipment.
